Jeff Striegel
Jeff’s story is like many people’s stories that they simply don’t like school, and he found more value in learning through life lessons taught in the real world not often found in a textbook.
My Story
Work Hard, Play Hard
Jeff Striegel is from a typical blue-collar family that could not envision any career path for him that didn’t include going to college. The problem was he hated school. Jeff had the good fortune to start working at an early age, found his true passion in the workplace, and through learning many life lessons in his teen years went on to build total financial independence in the years ahead.
Jeff’s story is like many people’s stories that they simply don’t like school, and he found more value in learning through life lessons taught in the real world not often found in a textbook. He recognized there are no free passes, and while you may not have to go to college, you do have to go to school to develop the Seven-Steps to success without college. It’s a fact that over 54% of privately owned small business do not have a college degree. Trust that they didn’t get there by daydreaming, but by setting specific goals, learning their trade or field of endeavor, paying their dues, and then working towards their ultimate goal.
As Jeff shares his thoughts, he will also share those life lessons he learned across his job path, and how they ultimately provided the building blocks to his success. This platform served him well when he joined Elias Wilf Corporation as a sales rep trainee almost 40 years ago. Rising through the ranks through multiple promotions, he became President eight years later, and went on to lead the company through many transformations over the past 30 years to grow the over 100 employee company to $100 million in annual sales.
His passion now is to find a way to help teens that don’t want to go to college to find their path to success as well.
